![]() They sometimes have special screenings of classic titles. This is a very small price to pay for the incredible value you get here. Seating in a few of the theaters have been upgraded though, and that's nice. I sometimes need to try 3-4 seats before I find one that's comfortable enough to enjoy the show. The only possible down side I can see to the Paramount 5 is that the seating in some of the theaters is quite old. You're lucky if you can get two tickets, a large popcorn and two large drinks at many first-run theaters for that. There were 6 of us, and the price of 6 tickets (matinee) a large refillable bucket of popcorn and four large refillable drinks set me back only $27. OK, to give you an idea of the value.a few weeks ago we had family visiting us and we all went to the theater and I treated. They are almost always smiling and are willing to do what they can to make your visit to the theater pleasant. I occasionally find a sticky spot of floor in a theater or bits and pieces of popcorn here and there, but all in all it's a clean welcoming place.Ħ) Staff: The workers are knowledgable and friendly. This theater does not show R-rated films.ĥ) Cleanliness: It's hard to keep any theater spotless, but they do a good job of keeping the place in good order. There is almost always something there that we are interested in seeing (e.g., we've already been to the Paramount 5 to see four of these titles).Ĥ) A family friendly place. Also there are two self-serve fountain machines and they include drinks and flavor ad-ins (lime, cherry, vanilla, etc.).ģ) Movie title availability: New releases appear in this theater surprisingly quickly. Even the diet sodas have a full-bodied taste. Plus they provide additional flavored toppings you can put on the popcorn (cheddar, white cheese, nacho, caramel corn, etc.) at no extra cost. When we've gone as a family we've refilled a bucket 4 times or more. We can see a regular (2D) movie for $2.50 (matinee) or $3.50, and a dollar more for a 3D movie.Ģ) Snack value: You can get a large refillable bucket of popcorn and two large refillable sodas for $8.00. Here's why:ġ) Ticket price: these prices are amazing. We absolutely love having the Paramount 5 theater in town.
